Raised down in Southeast Texas,
in the Houston area, Steve has an extensive eletronics background, working
for Channel 13 in Houston, TX. He built his first kW some 34 years ago,
and is running it, today. It's a single 4-1000, modulated by a pair of
813's. He's driving that with a completely homebrew exciter (about the
size of a DX-100), and completely homebrewed speech-amp. He emanates a
big from Harwood, TX, where he and his wife retired to, some 10 years ago.
