The Gang at Rock XII Rock XII was held on 31 May 1997 at N2INR Radio in Syracuse, NY. This was the first Rock with an international flavor - Dale, VE3VJA (far right front of photo) made a 600 mile trek from Canada. Other first time Rock event attendees included WA1IWQ, Joe; K1ETP, Rich; and KG2KS, Dave. Eighteen characters enjoyed the festivities and fun for most of Saturday evening, and some of the diehards lasted into the early hours of Sunday morning. The traditional "toast" at 10 PM Eastern time took almost 17 minutes, a new record. The crew was joined on the air by W3DUQ, KB2APE, K1KW and WA1KNX among many others. |
